Ann specialises in constitutional and administrative law, with a particular focus on spatial planning, permits, environmental law, and the intersection between these topics and private law.
She advises private and public clients on all aspects of environmental law, including soil regulations, and on private law related questions in this field. She also assists clients with license applications, administrative appeal procedures, and procedures before the Council of State (Raad van State / Conseil d’État), the Flemish Council for Permit Disputes (Raad voor Vergunningsbetwistingen) and the civil courts.
Ann is the author of various publications on her areas of expertise and a regular guest speaker at seminars and conferences. She graduated in Law from the University of Antwerp in 2010. Ann was a teaching assistant in property law and special contract law at KU Leuven from 2010 until 2016. In 2016, she obtained a doctoral degree in Law from KU Leuven. Moreover, Ann was a voluntary scientific assistant at the Instituut voor Goederenrecht of KU Leuven from 2016 to 2017.
Ann joined the Brussels office of Stibbe in 2016.
