Anneleen specialises in advising on large-scale public-private partnerships (PPPs), drafting and negotiating Design, Build, Finance, Maintain and Operate (DBFM(O)) contracts, public real estate projects, and creating bespoke property law structures.
With her versatile skill set, Anneleen offers comprehensive advice from project inception to completion, drawing on her extensive experience in managing complex projects. She also provides tailored assistance to general contractors, project developers, architects, and third parties throughout all stages of construction projects. Anneleen brings a wealth of expertise in contract drafting, negotiation, mediation, and managing legal proceedings.
She graduated in Law from KU Leuven (2011) and has a complementary master’s degree in Notarial Law from Ghent University (2012). She joined the Brussels office of Stibbe in 2012.
Anneleen was seconded to a New York law firm for four months in 2017, where she acquired additional and valuable international experience in different types of projects in various markets involving many global players and in ways of doing business altogether. She was a teaching assistant at KU Leuven from 2011 to 2012 and a teaching assistant in property law at the University of Antwerp from 2013 to 2014. In addition, Anneleen was the case-law coordinator for the Flemish real estate and construction law journal Tijdschrift voor Bouwrecht en Onroerend goed from 2015 to 2021.
