He advises and litigates on a wide range of pension related issues such as changes in pension schemes, indexation issues, mandatory participation in pension funds, pension aspects of transactions and restructurings, and pension fund governance.
Before joining Stibbe, Diederik worked at several companies specialised in pension law and has many years’ experience in the pensions sector. Furthermore, he has written numerous articles on pension law issues.
Diederik has a Master of Laws from the University of Utrecht (2002). He subsequently completed the post-graduate programme on pension law at the Free University of Amsterdam in 2009.
