Advising ING Groep on its EUR 7.5 billion rights offering. 

Advising Canon on its EUR 730 million all cash public offer for all shares of Océ. Together, Canon and Océ aim to create the overall number one presence in the printing industry. Canon also agreed to pay EUR 65 million to buy Oce’s preferred shares.

Stibbe assisted FEDICT with the drafting of a contract and negotiation of that contract and related service level agreements with Belgacom and Zetes for the delivery of electronic identity cards.

Advising Super de Boer in relation to the EUR 550 million offer made by Jumbo Groep regarding the acquisition of the entire business of Super de Boer by means of an acquisition of all its assets and liabilities.

Stibbe acted as advisor to Intertrust in its capacity as director of the Security Trustee to various securitisation transactions of the former Dutch DSB Bank N.V. on their bankruptcy.

Stibbe assisted a pharmaceutical multinational in complex litigations.

Advising Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan in their role as underwriters of the Dutch aspects of the equity issue in an accelerated bookbuild offering by AEGON N.V. 

Stibbe represented an upmarket department store company in the highly publicized proceedings before Belgium’s Supreme Court (Hof van Cassatie/Cour de cassation) regarding the validity of the national sales period legislation in light of EU law.
