Swaen has experience in advising on corporate restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, private equity matters, finance matters (share pledges), corporate governance and ESG. She advises a range of both Dutch and international clients.

Swaen holds a master's degree in Notarial Law (2021) from Leiden University (cum laude) and has started her notarial professional training (Beroepsopleiding Notariaat) at Stichting Beroepsopleiding Notariaat in 2022. She is also a member of the Royal Dutch Association of Civil-law Notaries (KNB).
