He mainly focusses on regulatory aspects of energy law (electricity, natural gas, hydrogen, fuels and district heating) and climate law (CCS/CCU, EU ETS and target setting) as well as energy projects (production, storage, energy efficiency and infrastructure), including contract drafting.

Pieterjan obtained a master’s degree in Law from Ghent University in 2017. He also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Energy and Climate Law from the University of Groningen (2018).

Pieterjan joined the Brussels office of Stibbe in 2018.
