Olivier brilliantly combines his long-standing expertise as a lawyer and his academic background in order to assist his clients in matters of public law and administrative law.
More specifically, Olivier’s expertise is focused on environmental law and urban planning law. He also has specific experience in nuclear law. His scope of competence extends to the regulations applicable at federal and European levels and in the Brussels-Capital and Walloon Regions.
Olivier also assists clients in cases relating to real estate and rights in rem issues. He specialises in complex projects that require a multidisciplinary approach. In addition, he has extensive experience in litigation before the Council of State and the civil courts.
He is the author of various publications on his areas of expertise and a regular guest speaker at seminars and conferences.
Olivier holds a master’s degree in Law from the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB). Olivier also obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in European Law from Ghent University and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Public Construction Law and Environmental Law from the Université Saint-Louis – Bruxelles. During his studies, he received the Ganshof van der Meersch prize which is awarded to students from the Faculty of Law of the ULB for their outstanding work in the field of public law.
He joined the Brussels office of Stibbe in 2007.
