Carolien has particular expertise in new technologies, data, privacy, e-privacy, e-commerce, electronic communications, telecom, media, software licensing, outsourcing and cloud sourcing, cyber security, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation. She provides advisory and transactional work for clients and represents them in litigation matters.

Carolien obtained a master’s degree in Law from KU Leuven in 2015. She also holds a master’s degree (LL.M.) in Intellectual Property Law and ICT Law from that same university (2016).

Carolien joined the Brussels office of Stibbe in 2016. She completed the Stibbe MBA Highlights Programme at INSEAD in Fontainebleau (France) in 2022.
