Barbra advises clients on both domestic and cross-border finance deals. She has worked on complex multi-jurisdiction banking and finance transactions, including syndicated lending, structured corporate financing, acquisition finance, project finance and reorganisations.
Barbra advises clients on both domestic and cross-border finance deals. She has worked on complex multi-jurisdiction banking and finance transactions, including syndicated lending, structured corporate financing, acquisition finance, project finance and reorganisations.
Barbra was seconded for two years at Stibbe's London office, advising clients on global finance transactions. Barbra also spent a year in Stibbe's TMT/IP practice group, where she advised clients in the fields of trademark rights, copyrights, neighbouring rights, design rights and slavish imitation. In addition to cooperating with other practice groups to provide advice on transactions from an IP perspective, she has experience dealing with electronic signatures, privacy law, (promotional) games of chance and compliance with applicable legislation and regulations.
Barbra has a Master of Laws (LLM) from Leiden University (2014) with a focus on both corporate and intellectual property law.
In 2017, she was seconded to an international Dutch bank as an in-house counsel advising the financial markets group. In 2018, Barbra completed the Stibbe MBA Highlights Programme at INSEAD in Fontainbleau, France.
