IT Solution Architect

Job description

As a solution architect you play a critical role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technology solutions. Your role encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including:

• Monitoring the roadmap of the various solutions under management. This both by independently looking for information from suppliers or by participating in Customer Success Management meetings.
• Developing an analysis of the firm’s needs and objectives and defining the functional requirements of a project. This includes selecting technologies, applications and platforms, making and monitoring budgets, project management, etc.
• Providing 2nd and 3rd line support for the IT teams and taking ownership of the maintenance and support of the solutions portfolio.
• Monitoring compliance and ensuring security of the solution portfolio.
• Preparing detailed documentation for the applications and solutions.
• You will become part of a dynamic team of around 10 colleagues (comprising the Head of IT, IT operations, ServiceDesk, Security).
• You will closely work together with a senior IT Solutions Architect. 

The ideal candidate

• You have a solid understanding of IT topics, with a strong appetite for and experience in financial applications such as data warehouses, ERP systems, Power BI, workflows, and similar technologies, platforms, and architectural patterns.
• You are eager to get to know the IT applications landscape of Stibbe.
• You are fluent in Dutch and French with a very good knowledge of English (written and spoken).
• You have a very good understanding of the modern Microsoft eco system such as M365 and Azure.
• You have potential to further grow into a senior role.
• You have excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• You have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• You are able to work effectively with cross-functional teams;
• You are familiar with project management methodologies and tools;
• You have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
