Zoya specialises in Dutch, European and International corporate taxation. Her practice involves a broad range of complex tax topics, including tax litigation, domestic and international tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, and transactions.
Zoya Zalmai
She studied Dutch Law and Dutch Tax Law at Utrecht University and Leiden University and graduated in 2013. She also completed the International and European Tax Law post-master programme at Erasmus University Rotterdam (Erasmus Fiscal Studies) in 2018.
Zoya has co-authored a number of books and has published numerous articles in Dutch and international tax journals. She also co-authored the IFA national report in 2023. She is a part-time lecturer at the University of Amsterdam.
She is a member of the Dutch Association of Lawyers and the Dutch Association of Tax Advisers (NOB).
