Frédéric’s knowledge of the laws of Luxembourg, Germany, France, and New York makes him well-placed to advise international companies on setting up Luxembourg corporate entities and on other corporate and finance matters.
Frédéric advises clients on corporate restructurings, reorganisations, M&A transactions, divestitures, joint ventures, private equity transactions, the setting up of Luxembourg corporate entities (including family wealth management companies), and specific Luxembourg financing instruments (e.g., PECs, CPECs, TPECs, and MRPS).
Frédéric graduated in German law from Saarland University (2005) and in French business law from the University of Panthéon-Assas (Paris II) in 2006. He holds an LL.M. from Duke University School of Law (2008) and obtained a certificate of completion for additional courses on Luxembourg law (CCDL) from the University of Luxembourg (2009). Frédéric is a member of the bars of Luxembourg (2009) and New York (2009).
Before joining Stibbe in 2013, Frédéric was a senior associate at a Magic Circle law firm in Luxembourg for 5 years. From 2017 to 2019, he was a managing associate (2017) and counsel and head of the German desk (2018 to 2019) at another international law firm in Luxembourg. Frédéric rejoined Stibbe in 2019.
