He graduated cum laude in Law (2012) and in Philosophy (2013) from Radboud University Nijmegen. In 2024, he earned a PhD in law with a doctoral thesis on joint and several liability in EU and national law, which has been published as a monograph (Hoofdelijke aansprakelijkheid, Wolters Kluwer 2024).
He was also one of the editors of a book volume on statute of limitations (Verjaring, Wolters Kluwer 2020). Daniël has been awarded several prizes for his publication on private autonomy and joint and several liability. He also frequently lectures at universities and post-graduate institutions such as CPO, LFS, and the Grotius Academy. Daniël is a member of the Dutch Association for Private Law (Vereniging voor Burgerlijk recht).
