Not only the Netherlands, but the entire world has to deal with climate change, partly caused by the emission of greenhouse gases. Heat Act (Warmtewet)
The Heat Act (Warmtewet) entered into force on 1 January 2014. The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate is currently working on a new Heat Act (Bill on the Collective Heat Supply Act, also known as the Heat Act 2). In the context of the current legislative process, developments regarding the Heat Act 2 continue at a rapid pace.
