Stibbe represented Simed International in a dispute with the privately-owned Slotervaart hospital in Amsterdam. The Slotervaart hospital claimed that Simed International had sent incorrect invoices to the Slotervaart hospital, which would therefore have been paid in error.

In a judgment dated 31 January 2017, the Court of Appeal of Arnhem dismissed the hospital's claim in full.
