Stibbe launches public and administrative law practice in Luxembourg
The Luxembourg office of Stibbe launches a public and administrative law practice with the appointment of Benjamin Marthoz as counsel.
As from January 15, 2018, Stibbe Luxembourg welcomes Benjamin Marthoz as counsel. Benjamin will be in charge of developing a public and administrative law practice in the Luxembourg office. The creation of this new practice expands Stibbe’s service offering in Luxembourg. It complements and supports Tom Storck's commercial litigation and employment law practice and adds specific expertise on public and administrative law, planning and environmental regulations, and litigation before administrative courts to the existing team’s capacity and skills.
Benjamin practices administrative law intensively and is a recognized specialist in regulations and litigation with regard to public procurement, administrative regulations (notably telecoms), competition, planning and environmental regulations, public contracts, tax litigation, and public service employment.
Gérald Origer, Executive Partner of Stibbe Luxembourg says: “The creation of a public law practice in our office is a logical next step in the development of our service offering since we can build on Stibbe’s longstanding leading public law practices in Belgium and the Netherlands to develop this niche administrative law practice in Luxembourg. The combination of Benjamin’s academic background and past experience as lawyer makes him the right person to advise our clients on this specific branch of law.”
