Stibbe Amsterdam appoints two new partners
We are pleased to announce that Stibbe Amsterdam has promoted Marc Habermehl and Stijn de Jong to the position of partner effective 1 January 2024. These appointments further strengthen our Corporate/M&A and EU & Competition Law practices.
Marc specialises in public and private M&A transactions and acts for both strategic and private equity clients. He has proven to be an exceptional lawyer, working on many high-profile deals for our clients. Marc joined Stibbe in 2015. He was seconded to Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in New York in 2019.
Stijn de Jong is an expert in Stibbe's EU & Competition Law practice, specialising in European competition law and consumer law. With substantial experience in M&A deals, litigation matters, government investigations, antitrust regulatory approval and comprehensive antitrust counselling, he adeptly handles high-profile antitrust investigations and litigations for clients across various industries. Stijn joined Stibbe in 2015. He was seconded to Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP in New York in 2022.
