Stibbe Amsterdam appoints three new partners
We are pleased to announce that Stibbe Amsterdam has promoted Roos Elemans, Lotte Hover-Boon and Daisy Nijkamp to partner effective 1 January 2025. These appointments will further strengthen our EU and Competition Law, Tax and Litigation practices.
Roos Elemans is an expert in all aspects of EU and Dutch competition law and in Foreign Investment Regulation. She has been a pivotal force in high-profile cartel investigations, abuse of dominance cases, and complex merger control and foreign investment proceedings across various industries. With the appointment of Roos, Stibbe’s market-leading EU and Competition Law practice continues to grow. Roos joined Stibbe in 2016.
Lotte Hover–Boon is a highly valued tax specialist with a strong background in domestic and international taxation. Her extensive expertise extends to M&A, capital markets, corporate structuring and restructuring, and employee benefits. She acts as a trusted advisor for a large variety of clients, including multinationals and international private equity funds. Lotte's appointment further strengthens Stibbe's market position in international taxation. She joined Stibbe in 2016 and was based at Stibbe London from 2017 to 2020.
Daisy Nijkamp is an exceptional lawyer and specialist in litigating and advising on liability, security rights and insolvency law issues. She provides counsel on complex international restructurings, including through a Dutch Scheme (WHOA), and acts as court appointed trustee in bankruptcy proceedings. With Daisy's appointment, Stibbe expands its strong Restructuring & Insolvency practice, particularly in the area of restructuring. Daisy joined Stibbe in 2009. She spent several years at Stibbe London and was seconded as in-house counsel for the financial restructuring and recovery team of an international Dutch bank.
