Stibbe has advised Sixth Street, a global investment firm with over $80 billion in assets under management and committed capital, on the acquisition of a minority stake in EdgeConneX.

EdgeConneX is a leading global provider of data centre capacity, focused on energy-efficient and sustainable designs optimised for AI and large-scale cloud deployments. 

EdgeConneX has 80 data centres in operation or under development in more than 50 markets worldwide. The seller (EQT Infrastructure), an investor in EdgeConneX since 2020, will remain the largest shareholder after the transaction.
