Stibbe advises Schiphol municipalities on new Environmental Airport Decree (Luchthavenindelingbesluit)
Stibbe advises municipalities in the region Amstel and Meerlanden (Aalsmeer, Amstelveen, Diemen, Haarlemmermeer, Ouder-Amstel and Uithoorn) in the vicinity of Schiphol Airport on the drafting of a report on the new Enviromental Airport Decree (Luchthavenindelingbesluit) in 2016. This report or guideline (handreiking) is aligned with the objectives and methodology of the future Environment Act.
The guideline expresses the necessity to create a broad, overall consideration of all interests regarding the developments in the vicinity of the airport. The report has been presented to the Director General Accessibility (Bereikbaarheid) of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment and to the President of the Association of Dutch Municipalities (VNG).
