Stibbe advises multiple COVID-19 related initiatives

Since the start of the COVID-19 outbreak, we have seen an outpouring of support and solidarity. This has resulted in multiple COVID-19 related initiatives to overcome challenges raised by the pandemic.

Stibbe has, on a pro bono basis, advised three of these initiatives during the establishment of their foundation:

  • Gewoonmensen – this platform allows people who are looking for help, and people that want to help during these difficult times, to better to find each other.
  • Extra ZorgSamen – the initiators of this foundation previously began a foundation called COVID-19 Extra Handen, bringing together supply and demand for healthcare workers. Now, with Extra ZorgSamen, those same initiators are working on optimising the continuity of healthcare.                                 
  • Help ‘n Happie – this initiative supported both restaurants and people by sourcing donations to order meals from restaurants, and distributing these meals among persons in need of help during the COVID-19 outbreak.
