Stibbe advised the Brazilian co-controlling shareholders of AB Inbev on the acquisition of SABMiller, the structuring, the control and governance of the new company ABI and the merger of SAB Miller into the new company ABI.

Stibbe also advised the Dutch stichting which directly controls ABI, on various Dutch securities, corporate and tax matters. The effective Eur 100+ billion merger of AB InBev and SABMiller is one of the largest mergers in corporate history and will create the world’s biggest brewer.
