Stibbe assisted a Belgian financial institution in the restructuring of its mortgage and consumer loan business, including a refinancing of its existing loan portfolios and structuring of additional funding arrangements.

The transaction also includes a further cooperation for new loan origination activities. This was by far the most complex structured finance (ABCP restructuring) project in Belgium in recent years. Our Brussels office was able to demonstrate its international offering by working together with our Amsterdam, London, and Luxembourg offices.
