Stibbe advises Apax Partners on the acquisition of T-Mobile Netherlands by a consortium of Apax Partners and Warburg Pincus.

The transaction values T-Mobile Netherlands at an enterprise value of €5.1 billion, making it the largest transaction in the Dutch telecom sector ever.

T-Mobile, which operates four brands - T-Mobile, Tele2, Ben, and Simpel - is a leading European telecommunications operator. Under the new ownership, T-Mobile will become an independent Dutch company and Apax and Warburg Pincus will look to partner with the management team to support T-Mobile as it continues to focus on innovation and growing its customer base.
