Stibbe advised Shinagawa Refractories on the acquisition of Gouda Refractories Group

Gouda, a Netherlands-based leader in the manufacturing of high-alumina refractories and provider of refractory services, was acquired from Andus Group B.V. for a purchase consideration of €144 million, valuing the company at €162 million on a debt-free, cash-free basis.

This strategic combination with Gouda is set to enhance Shinagawa’s capabilities in generating stable and growing cash flows. Additionally, it will enable further corporate value enhancement through continuous investment in growth, all while maintaining a solid balance sheet.
