Stibbe acts as advisor to the creditors of Landsbanki

Acting as legal advisor to Dutch local authorities, amongst which the Province of North Holland, and the power company N.V. EPZ in their capacity as priority creditors in the bankruptcy of Landsbanki in Iceland. Currently, Stibbe assists on behalf of the clients BBA Legal Reykjavik in proceedings on the foreign exchange rate that is applicable to the distributions from the bankruptcy estate and Stibbe advises the clients on their role as member of the informal creditors commission of Landsbanki.
