Seminar on the legislative proposal Balanced Labour Market Act (Wab)
The legislative proposal is currently being debated in the House of Representatives of Parliament. The legislator intends to have the Labour Market in Balance Act (Wab) debated and adopted quickly. With more detail about the proposal emerging, we have decided to kick off 2019 with an interactive seminar on what the legislative proposal means for labour law practice, whether there are any bottlenecks and what employers have to do in 2019 to be 'Wab-proof'?
The following topics will be discussed during the seminar by Jaap van Slooten, Johan Zwemmer and Tzivya Wegener-Belinfante:
- The new grounds for cumulation and severance pay
- The new rules for flexible workers and flexible contracts
- How employers can make sure they are prepared for Wab
