Asset vs. share deal seminar
Participate in our interactive workshop on asset deals and share deals. Delve into the advantages and disadvantages of these two common transaction types through a realistic business case, where you can apply your knowledge and skills to a hypothetical scenario.
The workshop will focus on how to:
- Choose between an asset deal and a share deal based on the strategic, financial, legal, and tax implications of each option;
- Deal with trapped cash, a price formula leading to a negative price, what to do if your seller must liquidate, etc.;
- Calculate a share price under different circumstances (single company, a group of companies, GVBF/FIIS, etc.).
The workshop is designed for all levels of experience, whether you are relatively new to the topic or want to refresh and deepen your understanding.
The workshop will take place on Thursday, 28 March from 16:00 to 18:30 at our Brussels offices. Kindly register before Wednesday, 20 March, using the registration button. The workshop is given in English by Matthias Maselis (real estate partner) and Wim Panis (tax partner). Please note that places are limited. Priority will be given to existing (or potential) clients.
