Lander’s practice focuses on all aspects of Belgian corporate law, with a particular focus on domestic and cross-border corporate transactions, including private/public M&A (both on the sell- and buy-side) and corporate restructurings. He also has extensive expertise in general corporate and securities law advice, corporate/M&A litigation and corporate finance. In addition, Lander brings to the team specific expertise in the restructuring and governance of public sector entities, as well as in real estate investment companies (REITS). He has assisted clients in a broad range of industries.
Lander obtained a master’s degree in Law from the University of Antwerp in 2016. In addition thereto, he pursued a postgraduate degree in Corporate Finance at EHSAL Management School in 2020 and completed the Stibbe MBA Highlights Programme at INSEAD in Fontainebleau (France) in 2022.
Lander was seconded to a Belgian wind farm developer for six months in 2018 and 2019. Between 2016 and 2019, he combined his practice as a lawyer with a mandate as a research assistant at the University of Antwerp. He has (co-)authored several publications on his areas of expertise.
Lander joined the Brussels office of Stibbe in 2016.
